You are invited to join for a presentation to honour Mark Ross, who leaves Sidmouth RFC this summer and heads back to his homeland of Scotland.

Many juniors and seniors and members will hold fond memories of their first rugby years with Mark.

Mark has completed decades of coaching with Sidmouth RFC and introducing children to rugby, he was part of the core team which was led by Richard Sawbridge that stayed with the U7/8. Not only did he look after the young players but they also made sure a coaching team existed as they went through the age groups.

We estimate that he has been with us for approx 25 years and approx 25 kids pass through the U7s each year, then he’s arguably launched the rugby careers of more than 600 children and probably 75 plus coaches. Quite some contribution to the rugby fraternity!

So please come along, and say your farewell and thank you to Mark on August 10th at 7pm at Blackmore.
