Inclusion Policy Policy statement
Policy statement

We will ensure that our club is fully inclusive in meeting the needs of all children and will seek advice where necessary, should any child require extra support
Our club is committed to anti-discriminatory practice to promote equality of opportunity and valuing diversity for all children.

We aim to:
provide an accessible environment in which all our children can develop their skills and in which all contributions are valued

Improve our knowledge and understanding of issues of anti-discriminatory practice through attending coaching courses and make inclusion a thread which runs through all our age-groups within the club

We do not discriminate against a child or prevent membership to our club on the basis of colour, ethnicity, religion or social background.

We ensure that we do not discriminate against a child with a disability. We will work closely with parents to provide the necessary care having made safety checks to meet the child’s needs.

We will take action against any discriminatory behaviour in our club. Anyone displaying discriminatory behaviour, name calling or threatening behaviour in our club or during away matches will be dealt with in the strongest manner.

Our club is as accessible as possible for all visitors and club members. We will work towards creating an environment of mutual respect and tolerance
We will seek out training opportunities for our volunteers to enable them to develop anti discriminatory and inclusive practices, which will enable all children to flourish and develop.

We will review our practices to ensure that we are fully implementing our policy for promoting equality, valuing diversity and inclusion.
